A result of an spontaneous evening! This time I got so tired of the shape and texture of the brussels sprouts but I had to make something since I've insisted to buy them. They felt too compact and hard to chew... so added some fluffiness! Chopped them up and fried them. It took som extra time but I got a lot more back.
TIME: 30 min
- 500 g brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili flakes (depending on how adventurous you feel)
- 1 tsp
- Wash the brussles sprouts, cut of the hard stem. Halve the small sprouts and slice thinly. It will take some time but it’ll be worth it.
- Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in the brussels sprouts and sautée for 5 min or until soft and lightly golden. Sprinkle with chili flakes and salt to taste.
- Serve in a mixed salad or as a substitute for pasta / rice.
