Here's my favorite sweet treat. If I against all odds have some extra time to spare in the morning I'm happy to take spend some extra time carefully preparing these. It only happens once a month, tops, but it's so worth it when it happens. The scent of coconut and cinnamon and the sweet bananas is really seductive and imagine topping your oats with them every morning! <3
My tip to you is that you should try to add them one by one to the skillet. If you throw them all in at once they easily get stuck together and you won't gett that crunchy result you're looking for.
Time: 20 min
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 banana, sliced
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Heat the coconut oil in a non sticky skillet over medium heat. Add in the banana slices one by one making sure they're not stuck together. Lower the heat. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Fry on each side for 1 min, make sure to be quick to turn them all around. Easiest is if you divide the slices in "teams". Finish a batch and start over.
- Once you've turned them, sprinkle with some more cinnamon.
